Nexgard is the new chewable flea and tick preventative from the makers of Frontline.

Suitable for monthly treatment of fleas and ticks on dogs. The palatable, tasty, chewable tablet is available in singles or boxes of 3.

It starts killing adult fleas within 30 minutes, before they are able to lay eggs, and kill ticks within 24 hours, thus before the tick is able to transmit any tick borne diseases to your pets. Nexgard can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Safe to use in puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 2 kg. Nexgard does not need to be taken with food and can act as a tasty beef treat.

NexGard Chewables - 4.1 to 10 Kg

For treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides sp.), control of newly acquired adult fleas and control of flea allergy dermatitis.

After administration, fleas are killed within six to eight hours. The rapid onset of action means newly acquired fleas are killed before they can lay eggs.

NexGard treats and controls paralysis ticks ( Ixodes holocyclus ), brown dog ticks ( Rhipicephalus sanguineus ) and bush ticks ( Haemaphysalis longicornis ) for one month.

Monthly administration is recommended. For use in puppies from 8 weeks of age.

The safe use of NexGard Chewables in breeding males and females has not been evaluated. Do not swallow. Wash hands after use. Accidental ingestion of afoxolaner can be harmful to children. To avoid accidental ingestion, administer the chewable to the dog immediately after removal from the package.

CONTENTS AND HOW TO ADMINISTER

Administer orally at monthly intervals to provide the recommended dosage of afoxolaner 2.5 mg/kg bodyweight. Dogs 4.1 to 10 kg bodyweight - One 1.25 g chewable (afoxolaner 28.3 mg/chewable).

This tablet is suitable to treat 1 dog weighing between 4.1 to 10 kg. For use in puppies from 8 weeks of age.

Nexgard is very palatable and readily accepted by dogs, thus the product can be offered to the dog by hand as a treat.

Alternatively, chewable tablets can be added to a small amount of dog food, or dosed manually.
